Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These terms apply when you ask Ovaro Web to build a website for you and when you take out our website plan. Ovaro Web is a trading name of Invoice Ovaro Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15979982), registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. Contact: support@ovaroweb.com.

1. Your free preview

1.1 We may build a preview website for your business from the details you give us and from public information about your business. The preview is free and there is no obligation to buy.

1.2 A preview link may stay available for a limited time. If it has expired, contact us and we can reactivate it.

1.3 If you do not want the preview, tell us and we will delete it.

2. The website plan

2.1 The plan has a one-off setup fee and a monthly fee. The prices, and the currency, are shown before you pay. Ovaro Web is not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices. The price shown is the full price.

2.2 You pay the setup fee when you choose to go live. The monthly fee starts one month after that and is taken automatically each month by card through Stripe.

2.3 The plan includes:

  • setting up your website
  • secure hosting and an SSL certificate
  • keeping the website running and up to date
  • your own domain name, registered in your name, connected within 2 working days of payment
  • unlimited changes to your text, photos, prices and details (fair use – see section 3)

2.4 There is no minimum term. You can cancel at any time (see section 7).

3. Changes to your website

3.1 You can ask for changes using your private changes link. "Unlimited changes to your text, photos, prices and details (fair use – see section 3)" covers updates to text, photos, services, prices, opening hours, contact details, areas covered and similar content.

3.2 It does not cover building new bespoke features, a complete redesign more than once every three months, or work for other websites or businesses. We will tell you before doing any work that would cost extra.

3.3 We aim to complete change requests within 2 working days.

4. Your content and responsibilities

4.1 You keep ownership of the content you give us, such as your logo, photos and wording. You give us permission to use it to build, host and show your website.

4.2 You confirm that you have the right to use everything you give us, and that the information on your website about your business, qualifications, insurance, prices and reviews is true and kept up to date.

4.3 We may refuse or remove content that is unlawful, misleading, offensive or infringes someone else's rights.

4.4 You are responsible for how you deal with enquiries and customers who contact you through your website.

5. Our work

5.1 We own the design templates, code and systems we use to build and host websites. You may use them for your website while your plan is active.

5.2 We will carry out our services with reasonable skill and care. We aim to keep your website available at all times but cannot guarantee it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or because of problems outside our control.

6. Payments

6.1 If a monthly payment fails, we will let you know and try again. If it is still unpaid after 14 days, we may take your website offline until it is paid.

6.2 The setup fee is not refundable once your website has gone live, except where the law says otherwise.

7. Cancelling

7.1 You can cancel your plan at any time through your billing link or by emailing support@ovaroweb.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for, and no further payments will be taken.

7.2 When your plan ends, your website will be taken offline. If you ask within 30 days, we will send you a copy of the text and photos you provided.

7.3 Your domain name is registered in your name and stays yours. If you leave, we'll help you transfer it to another provider, and we won't charge for the transfer.

7.4 We may end the plan with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously break these terms (for example by using the website for unlawful purposes).

8. If you are buying as a consumer

Our service is designed for businesses. If you are buying as a consumer and not for business purposes, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing to the plan. If you ask us to start work during those 14 days, you may have to pay for the work already done. This does not affect your other legal rights.

9. Responsibility for loss

9.1 Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

9.2 If you are a business, we are not responsible for loss of profit, business, revenue or opportunity, or any indirect loss. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

10. Data protection

How we use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. When we handle enquiries sent through your website, we do so on your behalf and only to deliver them to you and run your website. We keep them secure and confidential, use only providers bound by similar duties, help you respond to requests from individuals, and delete or return them when your plan ends.

11. Partner links

Our websites and emails may include links to partner services, such as business banking or company formation. We may earn a commission if you use them, at no extra cost to you. We are not responsible for partners' services.

12. Ovaro bonus

Where we offer it, paying customers receive a code for 3 months of Ovaro Premium free. Ovaro is an invoicing app provided by Invoice Ovaro Ltd. The code must be activated within 6 months and is for one Ovaro account. No card is needed. When the 3 months end, nothing is charged unless you choose a paid Ovaro plan. The bonus has no cash value and isn't affected if you cancel your website plan after activating it. Ovaro's own terms apply to your use of Ovaro.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change that affects your plan. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

14. General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere and the law of your country gives you extra rights, those rights still apply.
